Good therapy may be the most liberating gift you could give yourself and your loved ones.
My Approach
You Make Sense
We may not understand yet, but there are good reasons you do, think, and feel the ways you do.
We Go At Your Pace
Trusting the wisdom of your timing and rhythms, your yeses and nos helps to create the safety needed for deep and lasting healing.
Warmth and Humor
Even our darkest places- our despair, our self hatred, our longing to die- love to be met with compassion and laughter. Play is magic!

"You were my first truly positive therapy experience. Outside of the struggles of navigating the mental health landscape, I struggled to really connect with a therapist and feel seen and heard before working with you. I felt safe enough to try new exercises, frameworks, and safe enough to say no when it didn’t feel right.”

Yes, I do.
A sliding scale is a way to make therapy more affordable for people who do not earn a lot of money. If you’re interested, reach out.

A ‘superbill’ is basically an invoice your therapist can give to you to turn into your insurance company for reimbursement. The amount, if any, depends on your insurance coverge.
Yes, I absolutely provide them. I love it when my clients get reimbursed.

1) Because I survived a traumatic childhood and have done a ton of therapy myself, I can offer clients a much deeper level of understanding and non-judgement than therapists who only have book learning. Clients say this helps them feel seen, respected, and more comfortable opening up.
2) While modeling healthy, respectful boundaries, I also offer authenticity and playfulness. Sometimes this sound like cuss words, jokes, laughter, and kind, but honest feedback.3) Before becoming a therapist, I was a trail worker in the Yosemite backcountry and an ecologist. Nature connection has been a huge part of my healing, so it is a delight to also offer eco-therapy.

During our free 20 min. consultation call, we’ll get a chance to say ‘hello’, you can tell me what you’re looking for in therapy, we can answer questions, and see if we and our schedules are a good fit.
If we decide to work together, we’ll take care of the paperwork, talk about how to make the most of therapy, how to build a sense of comfort and trust together, clarify your goals, you can share your life story if you want, and then we can dive into whatever you are wanting to explore!
You are the expert of your own experience and you are not broken, so I will not try to fix or change you. What I can offer is open hearted listening, warm attunement, a chance to feel into secure attachment, pathways to free yourself from old pain and the cycles of trauma, a safe space to get to know your wild and beautiful inner worlds, a reflection of your inner strengths and connection to life, a brain science understanding of why you make total sense, and the skills to set healthy boundaries and communicate what’s true for you in ways you feel good about.
If you’re interested, I’d love to hear from you! -
According to experience and research, the most important thing to look for is a sense of connection. Does it seem like you could trust this person with your vulnerability?
If you are looking to do trauma work, I also highly recommend you find a therapist who specializes in it, has survived trauma themselves, and/or has extensive experience and understanding of working through it. Otherwise, you may feel misunderstood, like you have to take care of your therapist, or end up doing more damage than good. -
Yes. Sí, con gusto.
You are worth it.
And all of the bad stuff you’ve learned to believe about yourself is probably bullshit anyway!
